Individual, Couple & Family Therapy
I very much enjoy working with children, ages 5-18, who suffer from anxiety and/or struggle with behavioral difficulties in school and at home. I am trained in identifying the effects of childhood trauma and working with children and families to find meaningful strategies to help bring healing and strength. I also value working with the parents of these children and helping them gain more tools to help their cultivate their children into successful individuals. I have a passion for the LGBTQ community and seek to help members of that community to feel strong in their identities, grow a social support network, and live in a safe environment.
I have a Masters degree in Social Work and am finishing up my Level 1 Trauma certification. My undergraduate degree is a double-major in Psychology and Family Studies. I have worked in the Middle East for six summers, teaching about childhood trauma and working on reconciliation efforts. I have also worked with clients who suffer from PTSD, ADHD, relationship issues, and grief & loss.
I am fortunate to have 10 years of experience working with children in the school setting and 6 years in a therapeutic setting. I am delighted to begin working with you and/or your child.
My Ideal Clients
I work best with children age 10 + for trauma, anxiety, depression, anger, behavioral challenges. Additionally, I welcome anyone in the LGBTQ+ population looking for support, as well first responders (police, firefighters, EMT’s, Nurses, Doctors, etc.) dealing with emotional trauma.

As a Certified First Responder Counselor, I welcome first responders who are dealing with traumatic situations on a daily basis and need a trusted individual to help them move through the stress from the job.
Where I Volunteer
I volunteer for Affirmations, a non-profit drop-in center for LGBTQ+ youth, occasionally speaking on issues like self-care and mental health. I believe in equitable rights for LGBTQ+ community, I believe in the BLM movement and unlocking our internal biases in order to better understand ourselves and how we can help one another; I believe there is not enough mental heath care for our first responders who are fighting to protect us and keep us safe everyday (they need support too!)
